How many times has it happened to you? You’ve
no sooner set settled in with your drink at a party than a friend with an
urgent request distracts you.
Whatever it is that takes you away from your beverage, you can be guaranteed
you’ll return to find three identical glasses sitting right where you put
it. Which one is yours?
Wine charms allow you to identify which glass
of wine is yours. Each charm should different, so you never pick up the wrong
glass or have to get a new one because you're not sure which one is yours.
They’re like jewelry for stemware--stylish, practical, and each one’s
unique.
These are NOT my original concept! I do not know who started
making them. I had heard about them, and could not resist making
some for my table, and to show you how! If anyone knows the originator of
these little cuties, please PLEASE let me know! I would love to give credit!
I also like to give them away as a gifts to folks who come over for dinner,
especially ones with the person's initials. People love to get them as gifts,
and you can even make matching napkin rings with the bracelet size memory
wire. If you don't serve wine, they are just as pretty on the stem of a
water goblet, beer mug or dessert glass!
If you check eBay you will find hundreds of these up for auction. Some are
done very well other are not. I've seen these made with memory wire, beading hoops with or
without charms.
