Dear Jerry,
The price of silver after reaching a five-year
high has finally started to go back down. How
long before we start to see this reflected in
the price of silver findings is anybody's guess.
We have kept the prices steady on our website,
we were just making less and less profit on each
item.
I do not understand enough about economics to
know what forces drive the price of Gold and
Silver. I just have to assume it is supply and
demand, factored against the current inflation
rate and the value of the dollar against world
currency.
PS Happy Mother's Day--
14 Karat Gold.
We have started introducing a line of 14kt beads
and findings at a time when Gold is at a
historic high, but it seems to be creeping down
in price. Check back often I plan to have the
prices always reflect what we are paying for our
Gold products.
Nothing less than 10-karat gold can be legally
marked or sold as gold jewelry in the United
States. The legal requirements for minimum gold
content vary widely country-by-country (9 Karat
is popular in Britain, while in France, Italy
and Switzerland, 18 karat is the lowest
permissible standard to be called gold).
Precious metal beads in all sizes should be a
staple in every jewelry designer's inventory.
We will be expanding this line and adding new
products as they come in.

Beaded Sandals |
 |
Recently a friend of mine was looking for
something to sell on the Internet but then again
isn't everyone? He wanted something that was
easy and cheap to make, that everybody wanted
and that he could sell for a huge profit. Okay
that was little over the top, but that pretty
much summed up his request.
After talking to him and his wife, they decided
on modifying footwear, especially sandals. She
is from South America and cannot understand why
everyone wears closed toe shoes here in the
States, from what I gather most of the people in
Ecuador wear Flip-Flops most of the time.
It is remarkable what can be fashioned with a
few beads and some ribbon sew onto a Dr.
Scholl's Sandal.

I have created a Swarovski Information Page this
give you better information on Swarovski colors,
coatings and shapes.
I also give out information on what is selling
in Swarovski. I am hoping that sales information
on Swarovski Crystals will help you plan your
purchases. I mean if you know what everybody
else is buying maybe you should buy it too.

New Products... |
 |
It seems like Swarovski has become the most
popular group of items that we sell, I am glad
to see the Alphabet bead craze is dying down. We
have been spending a great deal of time and
money upgrading our Swarovski lines of Crystal
beads. So much, so that I have been ignoring
other things, we will be putting a new group of
Peruvian Ceramic Beads on the web soon, plus we
are getting new charms and 14-k Gold beads and
findings.
New colors, New products, New Shapes.

Fox Suede |
 |
This story is so stupid that I just have to tell
it.
I was talking to a Wholesaler about some of the
Suede cord that they were carrying I asked "Is
this real Suede" She said "It's Fox Suede" Okay
I don't like to be a total idiot so I said "Oh"
and put it down.
All day long, I was thinking that I could not
imagine that Foxes were so common that they
would be using their pelts to make suede. So
that I night I was telling my wife about this
new "Fox Suede" and it hit me she had said "Faux
Suede"
So I really had to laugh at myself over this, I
guess I had not asked the vendor enough
questions. I should have asked the vendor a few
more questions, but I had not wanted to commit a
Fox Paws, get it "Faux Pas"
