Debbie Foland - Beacon Beads

Debbie Foland

I live in Greentown, Indiana, USA. I started making beaded jewelry after 9/11, when I began making red/white/blue bracelets to sell in order to raise contributions for the 9/11-relief fund. My jewelry making just took off from there. I started searching the Web for beads and found that I really enjoyed using a variety of beads to make my jewelry. Jewelry making is a "de-stresser" for me.

I actually work full time outside the home and it is very relaxing to make up a design and create jewelry. Most of my sales to date have been through friend and family contacts. I recently started my web site in order to sell my pieces.

My main goal in selling jewelry is not to get rich, but to share my designs with others who like one-of-a-kind jewelry. Selling also allows me to buy more beads! I have also used an auction site to list some of my pieces. I really like doing custom work using natural gemstone and sterling silver beads.

My ideas are all within my head! I arrange and re-arrange my beads until I get just the look I want.

I make my own jewelry and each piece is one-of-a-kind. I just enjoy making jewelry using different types of beads. My jewelry is custom-made. You will not see your jewelry pieces on anyone else!

If you have any questions. Debbie Foland will be happy to talk it over with you.
