Placing an Order

Placing Your First Order - Placing an order with Jerry Smith, Beads is easy. There is no need to create an account first. You will have done that once you have placed your first order online. (We cannot accept orders by phone, fax or e-mail. All orders must be placed online.)

Finding Items - First, you will need to browse or search for the items you would like to order. Keyword search boxes are located on nearly every page of my store. You will also find links to browse lists and more detailed product-specific searches in the top navigation bar of each page. When you find an item that interests you, click the name of the item to see its product information page. Here you will find more information about the item, including an available inventory and estimates of shipping cost.

Adding Items to Your Shopping Cart - If you want to order an item from Jerry Smith, Beads, click the "Add the above to my Cart" button on the item's product information page. If you want to order, multiple items click the "Be Sure To Check This Box to add this To Your Cart" check box. Once you have added an item to your shopping cart, use the cart's top navigation bar or the "Continue shopping" button to keep searching or browsing until your cart contains all of the items you want to order. You can access the contents of your Shopping Cart at any time by clicking the Shopping Cart icon at the top of every page of my Web site.

Proceed to Checkout - Take a moment to review all of the items you have placed in your Shopping Cart. When you are ready to place an order for everything in the "Shopping Cart Items " section of your cart, click the "Proceed to checkout" button. You will be taken to the first page of the order form.

Signing In - Enter your Last name and e-mail address, and click the "Login In" button. (Keep in mind that the e-mail address you provide here will be the only e-mail address to which we can send information about subsequent orders.) If this is you first time ordering fill in all the fields then click the "Login In" If you have coupons or gift certificates enter them here.

Tell us where you would like to ship your order, and let us know if any of the items are to be gifts.

Select a Shipping Method - We use the United States Post office to ship our products. Consider how quickly you would like to receive your order, and choose a shipping method.

We ship out orders from Monday to Friday. Orders generally take 1 to 3 business days to process. Please note that shipping time does not include processing time! For example, if you choose Priority mail, that means that it takes Post Office two-three days to deliver from us to you but we still need time to process your order. We do however try our best to ship out your order within 48 hours.

Sometimes if certain items are out of stock and are expected to arrive within a few days, we might hold your order longer before shipping out. Customers who do not want us to hold their orders can specify on the comments section in the order page.

Review and Submit Your Order - Check the accuracy all of the information you provided and make any necessary adjustments. When you are ready, click the "Order Now!"

Provide a Method of Payment - Next, let us know how you would like to pay for your order. We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Visa Check Cards. Other payment types may be possible with prior arrangement. If you would prefer not to enter your payment information here, please select "I Will Call You" from the drop down box, then give us a call It is very important to complete this process; items in your cart are not removed from inventory until payment information is entered. If someone orders after you with full payment information, we will pull his or her order first. All orders must be have a payment method. If you are paying with a credit card, enter the number without spaces or dashes.

Review and Submit Your Order - Check the accuracy all of the information you provided and make any necessary adjustments. When you are ready, click the Place Your Order button to submit your order. Once you place your order, we will send you a confirmation e-mail message. We will send you another e-mail message at the time of shipment.
